Engagement Photo Sites?

My FI and I are having our engagement shoot next weekend.  We just set up the date with our photographers today, and didn't have a place in mind and haven't done any research.  Our photogs are from Springfield, MA and I believe our site can be in a 50 mile range for no extra charge.  We live in northeastern CT so we probably won't do them in our area. 

Does anyone have suggestions of outdoor sites that are great for fall photos?  Our photographer suggested Worthington Pond Farm in Somers.  Has anyone been there?

FI and I are having our pictures done at Hubbard Park in Meriden, CT.  Very pretty this time of year with the leaves changing color.  Or you could check out one of the many vineyards around the state.

Gillette Castle in East Haddam is awesome...that's where we did ours.  With the leaves changing and overlooking the CT river right now would be perfect!

There are also really pretty parks in Hartford that may work.

We did ours at Wickham Park in Manchester. Definitely worth checking out with the leaves having changed colors!

We did ours at UConn because that's where we met, but you could do them there without anyone knowing it's a college campus. There are some beautiful areas! We also considered Devil's Hopyard and Harkness. You could go to the Quabin Reservoir in MA or somewhere in the Berkshires.

We are going to wander around Collinsville....that might be a bit far for you, but its got old buildings, lots of trees and the river running through Ours are this Saturday...I'm praying for some sun!

Thanks for all the recs, I'm hoping there are still leaves this weekend!! Bellebride, I never thought of UCONN, my FI and I met there as well, great idea!
