4. How did you and FI/DH Meet?

We met online through one of those internet dating sites.
5. When did you know he was THE ONE?

I don't think there was ever really a moment where I thought "he's the one", but it was more of a gradual feeling...It happened early on in our relationship though.
6.  What do you love most about your FI/DH?
He can always make me laugh, no matter what kind of mood I'm in.
7. How long have you been together?

6 years
8. Do you live together? Why or why not?

We lived together for 2 1/2 years, but have been living apart the past 2 years since I moved to CA for graduate school and he stayed in CT because he was offered a great promotion at his job.  He's planning to move out to CA this year though and I can't wait!!
9. How did FI/DH propose?
We took a weekend trip to San Diego to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and spent a wonderful day in the city, seeing the sights, doing the tourist thing, and ended the day with a romantic dinner on the beach, complete with outdoor fireplace.  I was thinking that he might propose, but dinner ended and we headed back to the hotel...with no proposal.  Disappointed and thinking the night was over, I left the room to change, and when I returned FI told me that he had something for me in the cabinet.  Expecting my anniversary gift, I opened the cabinet and was shocked to find a little box holding a beautiful diamond ring.  I think my jaw dropped and I just stared at it for a few seconds before I turned to FI, who wasn't saying anything, and said, "Well, aren't you going to ask?".  And he did.
10. How long of an engagement are you having/did you have? Why?

We're having a 2 year engagement, so that we have time for FI to move out to CA and also so that we have more time to save up for the wedding.
11. Where do you see yourself as a couple in 5 years? 10 years?

In 5 years, I will be done with school and working, so hopefully we will be settled in our home (wherever that may be) and have our first child.  In 10 years, our lives will be stable and we will have 2 kids.
12. How many BM/GM do/did you have?
Not totally sure yet, but it will be either 3 or 4 of each.
13. Favorite wedding vendor so far?

14. Biggest piece of wedding advice you can share so far?

Plan early to save yourself some stress down the line.
15. What is/was the hardest part of wedding plans for you?

In general, the hardest part is planning a wedding in CT when I'm in CA.
16. What is/was your biggest splurge or must have for the big day? Deal finder?

Biggest splurge: Ceremony/Reception venue.  Biggest Deal finder: Vistaprint!
17. What are you most looking forward to in regards to the wedding? Least?

Getting all dressed up and spending our special day with all of our family and friends.  I am NOT looking forward to making a seating chart.
18. Do you have any special day before the wedding traditions? Day of?

Nothing special.  I just want to make sure that FI doesn't see me on the big day until I walk down the aisle.
19. Where are you HMing?

Nothing is booked yet, but we'd love to go to Hawaii!
20. What is the best thing you learned on TK?

Everything!!  I was so wedding-ignorant before I found TK! 
21. What Knottie wedding would you love to attend? Why?

All of the them!  After hearing so much about them, I would love to see how they turn out.

I am a graduate student working towards my PhD in geophysics and FI works in IT as a systems administrator.

Yes, 2

I don't think it's for me.  I think I would go stir crazy without a job.

Nope

Yes, an older sister.

Chocolate!

I don't have a single favorite movie, but several...A Knight's Tale, The Rock, Meet the Parents/Fockers, to name a few.

Non-alcohol: strawberry lemonade.  Alcohol: a nice glass of wine
32. What's one city you would love to live in for a year?
Rome

More guests and an all day videographer.
