Zach Dauphinais DJ?

I know I'm a little early, but I've been looking around at DJs.  Has anyone ever used Zach Dauphinais? (http://musictogoct.com)  He was a radio DJ in Putnam for a while and also DJs weddings and parties.  Supposedly he's really good and super affordable.  Anyone know anything?

I'm curious why you aren't looking at DJ Melee?  Once I heard about him and met him, I never considered anyone else.  He's also by far the cheapest I've seen - it was $795 for a full day - ceremony, cocktail hour, reception!

ETA:  Sorry, I don't know anything about Zach.  Have you checked WeddingWire?

I actually know who he is....we have mutual friends..he's a really really nice guy and knows a ton about radio/music and DJ..I would check him out!

Oh it's not that I'm not interested in DJ Melee, I'm actually a "fan" of his on facebook and he seems really, really great.  But he's also SO incredibly busy that he frequently books 3 weddings in a single weekend.  It's wonderful for him that business is booming, but I think I want a DJ who has a little more time to focus on each wedding individually, rather than cranking 'em out.  (No offense to the DJ Melee fans, truly.)

I've heard good things about this guy Zach, like that he's a hard worker and priced pretty competitively, so I just thought I'd scope him out here first.

I haven't heard of that DJ but just wanted to say that don't feel like you're too early. Our DJ was the first vendor we booked....like 2 years in advance haha (not that it's the norm)..... good luck in your search!

I don't know anything about Zach, but I just wanted to say that I agreed with Vanessa- the dj was the first thing we booked also and that was about 14 months before the wedding. For your first choice you really do have to book early!

YES!!  I know Zach.. how funny he was mentioned here.  He's AWESOME.  Very hard worker, totally focused on details and making absolutely certain that his clients are happy, and very budget-friendly.  I know he's been DJing for several years but only recently is he starting to take on more weddings.  He'd be a great choice.

And just to chime in on the DJ Melee conversation, Jason was my wedding DJ (I became familiar with Zach after my wedding) and he was incredible, very talented.. just a joy to work with.  I'd hire him again in a heartbeat and I'm so glad to count him among my friends (we still keep in touch regularly)
