Budget Friendly Ceremony/Reception Venues

Ok Thifty brides....I am at my wits end...I cannot find an outdoor location for a Friday night wedding in Hartford county, that will fit my $5000 reception budget. We have about 100 guests. I want it to be so very simple and I am not getting anywhere! 

I am open to any and all ideas.

Have you looked into Glastonbury Hills Country Club?  You can have your ceremony outside there (or you can have it outside at a super cute Inn just up the road, but I forget the name) but the reception would be inside.  They have very affordable menu pricing as well.

I did. I like the Cabin but it is about $3500 for just the location. I am trying to keep it very simple, but my simple is impossible to find:(

The little inn up the street is fantastic! I might end up doing something there:) All of this is becoming too stressful:(

Wickham park has just the gardens too, you dont have to use the cabin unless you plan to hold the reception there as well.

Check out A Villa Louisa in Bolton. Their packages include flowers for centerpieces, cake, open bar, all your food. You can have your ceremony there too - outside in gazebo in a garden or inside in front of the fireplace. That's where we're having ours. PM me if you need any more details
