DJ Melee- Infringement action??

Hi Ladies-
DJ Melee posted on his newer facebook page (Melee Wedding Entertainment) that facebook deleted his DJ Melee page because there is a DJ in Boston taking infringement action against him. I'm just curious if anyone knows what that means? I'm not complaining or anything, I feel bad for the guy with his new little man due soon- and now he has to deal with this- I assume it has to do with copyright stuff...

    I saw that too and searched DJ Melee on facebook and there is a club DJ out of Boston with the same name.  That's all I really know.

    Sounds like it's just an issue with the name DJ Melee instead of an issue with him as a person or how he performs.

    Correct, that's all there is to the story.  It's a pain in the butt, but it's not a big deal (in the scheme of things) or a real legal issue.

    That's ironic.  I actually was doing something last week and was trying to go to DJ Melee's website and when I searched google, the guy in Boston came up first and I went to his website by accident.

    They probably just fired off a "cease and desist" letter.  I'm assuming (and hoping) that since his website is now changed, it's probably mostly over at this point.  Facebook seems to have made that decision on its own, rather than a result of any legal decision.  Who knows whether he'll still be "DJ Melee" but I'm sure he'll still be around, and I doubt very much that there would be any monetary issues!
