Hi Everyone,
Has anyone worked with DJ Melee? I would like to know what you thought of him. I just got his package and his rates seem very reasonable. I have yet to meet with him though, would apprciate any insight!

I met with him with my parents, and we all agreed that he was the absolute best.  He's leading edge with technology, he's incredibly professional without being stuffy, he's young and hip and VERY knowledgable about music, he's easy to work with and listens REALLY well to his brides.  He also offers uplighting and mic rentals for ceremonies at a really low cost.

Overall, he's one of the vendors I'm most excited about having booked for my wedding.

I loved working with him for my wedding! We also booked him on the spot when we  met with him, because I could tell he understood what we were looking for without us really having to say much. He did an excellent job with our custom intro's, and offered a lot of great feedback over the course of my planning. You're right about his rates being reasonable, I couldn't find anyone that beat them! He's just very down-to-Earth about wedding costs, and doesn't believe that couples should have to sacrifice a huge part of their budget to have quality music at their wedding. He also did a great job playing what we wanted to hear, and politely declining people's requests to things we had asked not to be played. Really, I don't think I've ever seen a bride on here that had worked with him and wasn't happy. Good luck!

Ditto PP- if you can grab him, book him ASAP. He has been nothing but great so far, we had the pleasure of meeting his new little guy when we dropped off gifts for his holiday drive and his wife was super nice and his little boys were SO cute. He's so friendly...I've only seen one bad review on wedding wire and based on what she said and how he responded it seemed that perhaps the review was a bit bias. As you can tell, we love him

I was super excited about booking DJ Melee, without ever meeting him, just from his reviews on here and other wedding sites. I loved that he seemed very energetic, up to date and reasonably priced. We exchanged an email or two, then when he was supposed to respond back with a good time for him to meet (on a day that we had already agreed upon), he never wrote back. So I emailed him. Then I emailed again. Then I called. I was really sad that DJ Melee dropped off and seemed to not be interested in following up.

We went with Entertainment Unlimited of New England and can't wait to see what owner, Bob, has in store for our wedding!

We met with DJ Melee over the weekend and booked him on the spot!!  His presentation was professional.  He had some examples of music to listen to.  DJing isn't just a hobby for him...it's his passion and it shows.  We are so excited.
