Make up for a person of color

Hi,

Any recommendations for a make up artist that is african american or has worked with a lot of african americans? I have reached out to the popular names on the board, but they haven't been able to provide a lot of pictures of african american brides they have worked with.

    Yeah, there's not much out there for us. I went with Danielle Santagata because I love her eyebrow work. A good friend of mine is a fabulous MUA. She is doing my makeup for all wedding events except the wedding. (She's a guest and I decided I wanted her to enjoy being a guest on the day of). Her name is Michelle. She doesn't have a website yet but she is on Facebook , her page is Eye Heart Beauty. Best of luck! If you go with her, tell her Lauren sent you.

    I"m using Erin Infantino (www.simplygorgeousbyerin.com). I'm of mixed race (part african american). I love her work and she's been great to work with. Have you had any trials yet? HTH

    I worked with Larissa Lake. I can't rave about her and her team enough. Stephanie did my makeup and it came out wonderful!
