Rocky Neck Pavillion

I'm thinking of renting the Rocky Neck Pavillion for a wedding next spring and I need info! I wanted to do the ceremony down by the water have the cocktail party on the outdoor terrace and then move inside for the rest of the reception. Has anyone had their wedding there? I would like to find a caterer that is familiar with the venue and can help me with all the rentals and everything. Any info on limits to the guest count, bar regulations, and handicap access both to the pavillion and ceremony areas would be greatly appreciated too!

My cousin had her wedding there in 2008 and it was gorgeous.  I don't know about having the ceremony near the water, but she had it right in front of the pavilion (we walked down the stone walkway and people watched from the sides and above).  My guess is she probably would have wanted it near the water so they probably don't let you since that's not part of the pavillion.  I'm not totally sure where cocktail hour was because I was her MOH so we were having pics done then.  We have a house at the private beach right next to it so we walked the entire length of Rocky Neck for pictures during cocktail hour.

She used Aqua Turf as her caterer who also provided bartenders.  They had one bartender set up inside near the far fireplace and one bar set up on the terrace.  She and the person that got married the night before split the cost of renting chairs since they don't have the best looking ones.  I'm not sure where they rented from though. 

I also don't know how many people can fit but I know she had more than 200 and there was plenty of room.  The dance floor was closest to the terrace.  There is also an elevator for handicap people and they will also let handicap people pull right up to the pavilion.  You'd have to ask how they inform their staff of who to let through though.

Im thinking of doing a wedding there next spring/summer as well. Was wondering what information you found out. I want to be married down at the beach with the recption at the pavillion.
