Hello fellow July lovers. A bit about myself...My name is Deborah and I'm as much of a city girl as you can be living in Dallas. My F proposed two nights ago, such a sweet romantic guy he is. We've been talking about getting engaged for a while, so we had already chosen the date of July 15th. I think I want my theme to be kind of whimsical, with glitter, soft color sugar butterflies going up the cake, colors purple and teal-ish (I'm thinking peacock colors without the feathers). I do have a question that is in my mind about July weddings. I'm in Texas and during July the temperatures will be around 100 degrees. This pretty much takes out any outdoor activities I'm sure, but what are ways to put a summer style into a wedding. I can think of ways to do it for every season but summer...perhaps because all I think about is pools and sweat lol. Any ideas or DIY projects would be great...of course being on this forum I'm bound to naturally come by ideas
