Colorado honeymoon suggestions...

My fiancee and I are planning our honeymoon for our dream Ski Vacation in Colorado.  We would like to stay in one of the ski villages preferably near breckenridge or vail but aren't sure on where to stay.  If anyone has any suggestions or reccomendations on locations, restaurants, ANYTHING i'd really appreciate it

I'm not much help--sorry but I think that sounds like SO much fun!! Maybe post on the Colorado board and see if anyone can help you. I've heard good things about Beaver Creek (I'm not exactly sure where it is, but I know there are tons of condos to rent around there!) I would also go to "travel advisor" and "yelp" to find places to go/eat, they always help me!! Good luck!

I've lived/skiied all over Colorado and can definitely provide some suggestions. Vail is expensive (overpriced!)...I would go with Breckenridge if you want to stay in that part of the state. However, before you commit, you should seriously think about Telluride. You can fly into Montrose airport (if you're flying) and drive over to Telluride, about an hour and fifteen minutes. Wolf Creek, near Durango, is also excellent. Private message me if you want more info.
