Which Couples resort?

We aren't going to party or get drunk. We want relaxation and romance with a little seclusion at times. We want good food and a bathroom with a hot tub/jacuzzi.

If you're open to places outside of Couples, I'd recommend Secrets Maroma Beach or Excellence Playa Mujeres (EPM).

We HMed in secrets and loved it.  It was pretty quiet at night, but had the options to go to shows or the dance club if you wanted.  The other place we considered, which several ladies on here rec is EPM.  It's a little more secluded than Secrets and a little quieter* (*according to our travel agent)

I've been to Couples Sans Souci and heading to Couples Tower Isle in two weeks. That being said, I agree with the poster above- Secrets Maroma is AMAZING!!! So romantic and about the same price as what you would pay for Couples. the only downside is that it's adults only, rather than couples only. If you really want Jamaica and Couples, though, I'd aim for Swept Away, followed by Tower Isle (only if you like art deco or retro), then Negril, then Sans Souci) Each property is different, so definitely rely on the website pics.

We aren't set on Secrets, but fiance doesn't want to go to Mexico. So Secrets Maroma Beach is out. If he wasn't against Mexico, that's where we would go, no questions asked.
I checked into Secrets St James and Wild Orchid, but I was less than impressed with the reviews so we decided to look at other places.

We booked our honeymoon at Couples Tower Isle! I've heard nothing but great things about it! Jamaica was the last place we thought we would pick, but after talking to the travel agent and doing our own research, we decided to go for it and can't be more excited! The price is the same anywhere we went, but Couples has some extras (like excursions) that weren't included at other resorts.

I just think that too many people put emphasis on the honeymoon... I know no matter where we ended up picked we would have a great time because we are together and celebrating our marriage! As longs as you have an open-mind and make the best of any situation you are in, you will have a vacation of a life time!

Although it's adults only; pretty much everyone that was there when we were were couples, and the majority of them where HMers.

Yes, true. Maroma is probably the best one for that and I really loved the property. I've been to a few Secrets properties. Silversands, for example, had less couples than Maroma. In fact, I was with a group of adults at Silversands rather than my FI. At Couples, they only offer one king bed per room and no cots or single supplements, where at Secrets, you can get two double beds, as I had in my room. Just wanted to point out the difference
