Riviera Maya Honeymoon - Poll!

Hey All!

We're looking for an intimate spot with a nice beach, fun activities (scuba, snorkeling, hikes, ruins, horseback riding, zip lining), good food and drinks, and a romantic setting with ability to do some activities if we get tired of laying around all day.

Here's our choices. Anyone ever been to any of these spots... thoughts?!

We just booked our honeymoon to Riveria Maya - Valentin Imperial Maya. Trip Advisor reviews are great, the rooms look amazing.. and it was very well priced!

We honeymooned there and it was wonderful! I second the VIM. We chatted with people in our tour groups from neighboring hotels and the VIM sounded like the best of the bunch. The beach was fabulous, the food was really good, and the rooms were clean and pretty. We really liked the jacuzzi tub in the room.

My HM in October was at El Dorado Seaside Suites. We 100% loved it and would go back in a heart beat. Not 1 bad experience there. The beach was amazing, food was to die for. The staff were more than accomodating. We booked a couple excursions, went to Tulum and Chichen Itza right from the lobby of the resort. There's also day of things you can sign up for that leave from the beach, like kayaking and jet skiing. And the spa was great. We got a couples massage. A wonderful resort!
