We put our deposit down for the florist and the lighting company today! I'm  so glad to  get that done.

I was about to take a nap when I started watching bridezilla. It gave me anxiety over not having our florist done (I have this huge fear something will be booked for our day!). I jumped up and started calling and getting it all taken care of. Now I wish I had time for my nap lol.

I still have so much on my check list:
-Honeymoon (This needs to be done asap)

-Hair and make-up artist. I havent even started to think about this. 

-Catering needs to be finalized.

-Candy bar (Im doing it myself)

-Invitations

-Cake (FMIL is making it)

-Tuxes

-Undergarments for dress

-Shoes for me and the wedding party

-Playlist for the reception

-Musican for the ceremony

-Order aisle runner.

Ugh. So much. Any new checks out there? What do you have left to do?

Congratulations. I've trying to wing it without booking a florist. Our reception location is beautiful enough without any flowers - but the ceremony location could use some flowers..or SOMETHING to spruce it up - but I might just try to DIY.

I pretty much have the same checks left that you do - give or take. I think I know which hair and make-up artist I want to book - but...it's going to be 300+ dollars for hair and make-up for myself and my mom - and I am just having a hard time living with that amount of money going toward hair and make-up.

Yikes $300! I have no idea what hair and make up is going to cost and I'm terrified to find out...

Wow $300!! My hair will be $75 and make up will be $50.

We've gotten most of the major checks out of our way. The biggest thing we need to do is figure out the decorations, what the smaller centerpieces will be, and our ceremony program. We will do the program with our officiant in February.

I don't think I have much left to do:

- transportation for guests

- wedding band or FI

- activities for our 11 day honeymoon in Hawaii

- shoes and jewelry for myself

- gifts for attendants and favors for guests

- some small things like card box and ring box

See - I can't find anything cheaper that will come to our location. -_-

EDIT: and that 300 includes both my mom and myself to get our hair and make-up done - so 150 each. Since they so kindly paid for my dress, I'm surprising my mom by booking a hair and make-up artist for us both. :o)

Finalize must take photos
Finish frame
Do the "program": see PIP...I want to do something similar..

We still need to:

-Book our HM (we know where we want to go and stay, we just have to actually book it-- this is FI's job lol so that's why it's taking so long!)

-Meet with our baker and pick out a cake (our cake is included with our venue package, but we just need to meet with the bakery and decide on flavor, style etc.)

-Purchase wedding bands

-Book a limo and transportation for guests from the hotel

-Decide on tuxes

-I need to buy a veil and hair accessories

-I've spoken with a person to do my hair, but I need to actually book a trial with her and send in a deposit

-Gifts for WP and parents

-Book videographer (we are meeting with him on Tuesday so we'll have that done then I'm sure)

I have more things to do than I realized!! Good thing you posted this! lol

Ugh. FI is in charge of finding the DJ...which is taking FOREVER because he doesn't actually contact anyone. o_o
