Booking Honeymoon

When is a good time to start looking and to book the honeymoon?  FI and I are tight on money but want to go on a cruise.  Our wedding date is May 18, 2013.  But we have to go either after May 30 or be back before it.  Daughter's bday is May 30 and can not and will not miss it.  I'm thinking like a 7-9 day cruise.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I agree with PP. My wedding is May 2012 and we are now just talking about our HM.

I agree, most cruise lines and also airlines to get to the cruise port dont book schedules more than a year out, you can start looking into islands and cruise ports now so when you get ready to book you have a better idea of what you're looking for!
