Opinion on bachelorette party dress

Is it weird that I am planning to wear a LWD (it's actually more cream/ivory) to my bachelorette party?

I was originally really excited about it, but now I am not sure if it is a weird idea or not....

I am getting SO EXCITED for it, so many of my friends are coming in that it should be a fabulous evening out!! I had originally thought we might only have like 7-8 girls, but we have 13 that are spending the night + a bunch of others who are coming but not getting a hotel with us!

That's totally normal!! I thought I was being weird by wanting to wear a LBD that is lacy and short.  But my sister bought a white sash for me so at least I'll be wearing some white for my bachelorette party.

I think it's common for brides to wear white at their bachelorette party. I even have a friend who wanted everyone to wear black while she wore white, but the invitation didn't say anything so I'm going to wear whatever I feel like wearing.

ok yay glad I am not the only one!! It's kind of bondage-y with lots of strappiness and cut outs so it's kind of ironic that it's white...hahaha.

Omg, that's totally cool.  I was originally trying to find a LWD but couldnt find one that I liked and ended up with something else.  I wore a LWD for my engagement party; bridal shower and am considering it for the Rehearsal dinner lol

I am thinking of getting a LWD as well for my bachelorette party as well. I have yet to go shopping though.

I promise - it looks way better in real life than on that model, because I actually have cleavage spilling out of the cutout, where she has nothing.

Oh, SWEET. Thank you for the link! There's a UO near my office so I am going to try to head there at some point and see if they have it. And that brand actually usually fits me because it runs small! Thank you!

you are so welcome!!! I probably got it like...3-4 weeks ago, hopefully they still have it in the store!! if not, they had tons of really cute short white lacy dresses too that were all pretty cheap (like under $75), hopefully you can find something you like!!

I think I got a 6 in that dress and it fits perfectly - I love that brand too, it always just fits really well!

I envy those who can pull off wearing white dresses on normal occasions... I just don't have the figure or the coloring for it.

I haven't decided exactly what I'm wearing, but I have a few new dresses to pick from.  Depends on how hot it is, I think... the one I really want to wear is REALLY short and summery.

I wanted to wear a LWD, but then my girls made my bach a pink affair, so I had to scramble to get something pink. I ended up getting one of those bodycon pink skirts from BCBG and wore it with a tight white shirt. They also have them in stark white, and they look hot! They would def work for a vegas bach party, too!

I'm so jealous of you girls going to bach parties this weekend. Mine was already two months ago and it went by SO fast. Enjoy yourselves! It will fly by!

I don't think that's weird at all. I love the idea of wearing white to all your events. I mean you're only a bride once! Well.. I hope it'll only be once for us!! Anyway, wish I would have thought of this before. I didn't wear white at my bridal shower or engagement party. Then again, they were kind of thrown together impromptu events. I think I'll get something white for my civil ceremony and bach party!

Ahh yes a little white dress makes much more sense!  Butterfly that dress is Hot and I totally think you should wear it and I do not find it strange at all!

I am looking for one but cant find anything i like! They either are all white but frumpy, or white with multiple colors. So i think im going to try and find a white flashy top and wear dark jeans and cowboy boots.

Love the idea of the LWD! Not weird @ all.... I on the other hand will be wearing cutoffs n cowboy boots cause mines during stampede baby!
