Maui - narrowed down to 3 choices

Hi all,

I'm new to posting. FI and I are looking at places in Maui and have it narrowed down to 3. In no particular order, they are:

1) The Westin Maui Resort & Spa
2) Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa
3) Westin Ka-anapali Ocean Resort Villas

Today only, Orbitz has a great deal on #1, making it $1168 per person for our flght + 8 nights - down from about $1550 as the next lowest price we could find. However, we like the idea of the kitchenettes and natural coral reefs advertised by #3. And the beach at #2 looks nice.
Oh, we are going there for a private wedding, just us, followed by our honeymoon.

Thoughts? TIA!!

I stayed in a condo on Maui (aston kaanapali shores) and it was GREAT to have the kitchen, the beach in Kaanapali is by far the most beautiful, clean beach I have every swam in. Any thing you choose is going to be wonderful!

We stayed at the Westin Villas in July. For a wedding, I probably wouldn't recommend it. I'm sure you already know that this is a timeshare "resort." HIGH priority is given to owners. FI and I were treated like we weren't "worthy"- we had a horrible room, service was lacking. It's definitely much more family oriented.

Having said that, the room was very nice and it was really helpful to have the kitchenette. The reef behind the hotel does have some great snorkeling. However, this isn't a place I'd choose for a romantic HM.

FI's family has stayed at the Westin Maui twice and they love it. We also visited the Sheraton and it seemed nice. I would probably choose the Westin.
