NEED IDEAS!!

My fiance and I are kinda stuck...we're talking about the honeymoon and we've kinda thought maybe a road trip.  We're thinking Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks.  Any Ideas anyone as in where to go and not go or if we should camp or rent a cabin or ANYTHING haha I'm completely stuck.

  • I think it really depends on what you want and what your budget is. Is a camping honeymoon something that would appeal to you? If so that is great. Starting in South Dakota you could do some really good traveling and visit some great National Parks. What is your budget and are you looking for more of an adventure type itinerary or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery.

  • Yes I would be open to a camping honeymoon, we're both into things like that but it'd be nice to have a cabin one night or so (hot tubs and whirlpools are a honeymoon must right).  And an adventurous honeymoon is more what I was thinking since we aren't drinkers so we won't have the night life or relaxing by the pool with drinks hm  like most people I know. so any specifics? And I guess I'll plan a whole day in Cody ha.

  • I don't camp, so I stayed in a cute hotel just on the edge of Yellowstone. Jackson Hole might be a fun diversion. It's maybe 45 minutes south of Yellowstone and you drive past the Grand Tetons. There is rafting on the snake river and some ranches if you want to go horseback riding. And Jackson Hole is a 'nice' town (celebrity getaway), so you can go there for hot tubs, spa treatments, nice restaurants, and shops.

  • We considered a "thrillcation" with things like hang gliding, rock climbing, things like that.  In the end, we're going to Australia and working some exciting and more "dangerous" things into it.  We want to get in some things we'd be too scared to do once we have kids.   There's soooo much cool stuff out west to do.  I would consider getting a really nice room for something more traditional on day 1 or 2, though.  I personally will want some romance mixed in with my HM.
