We're spending our honeymoon in Key Largo and will be staying at the Ocean Pointe Suites.  
Anyone have any tips for Key Largo or any suggestions of things to do or to stay away from while we're there?

P.S. We're going in August (if that effects anything)

    Key Largo is beautiful. Make sure you go to Key West. Sundown every day is fun. Only problem I see in August is hurricane season. You never know when its coming that way.

    Yea we thought ab that. The hotel allows for refunds or reschedules if a named storm comes our way. We're from Louisiana so if a little tropical storm comes our way well just cuddle in our hotel and ride it out : What do you mean by sundowns?

    Key West celebrates the sun going down every day.  Definitely do that.

    If you are at Ocean Pointes (I have stayed there before) you are near Holiday Isle (if you want some fun day drinking/water stuff) they have a reggae band and it's "hoppin".  The Lor e lei restaurant in Islemorada is also tasty.  :)  I don't know your budget but you can also have a nice dinner at Little Palm Island (it is really expensive, it is a resort that you can only get to by boat, but, they let folks have dinner without staying there.
