Was planning on going to an all-inclusive resort in Mexico, the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo to be exact. Has great reviews and was going to pre-book a shuttle from viator.com to get to the resort and back from the airport. Well my mom asked me yesterday about our honeymoon and told her where we were planning for and she says "oh you're NOT going to Mexico" and said she just saw on the news about how unsafe it is there right now and all the crime. My mom is the same lady who used to not let me stay at friends houses in the winter when i was younger incase their furnace would explode, so she is a little over protective, but now she has me all paranoid. what do you guys think? anyone been there lately?
