Hawaii or Bahamas for wedding and honeymoon??

Help!! I want to hear opinions if where I should book wedding/honeymoon. I have narrowed it down to Hawaii (not sure which Island, maybe Maui? or Bahamas. It is just gonna be the two of us and maybe the parents. I also need help choosing a wedding planner in Hawaii as I live in Canada.

I highly recommend that you post this on the Destination Wedding board, which us under "Wedding Theme Boards". There are girls there that are getting married in both places. Most of the posters on this board are focusing on HMs only. Also, the Bahamas and Hawaii are two totally different places at different price points. I recommend doing some additional research on each. Check out gohawaii.com for tons of info on the different islands. I do not know the Bahamas Tourism Site, but I'm sure you can find it on Google. As far as wedding planners, the girls on the DW board may be of help, but as someone who had a destination wedding, I used the onsite resort wedding coordinator. Almost every resort will have one you can work with once you are booked!

Ditto PPs. I fell in love with Hawaii while there, but depending where you're coming from, it can be a VERY long flight and a very pricey trip. I would talk to your parents and get their input, as well as looking up some specific hotels and wedding packages in each place to see what type of money you're talking about.
