Anyone here?  What are you up to?  I just finished up a late dinner with DH (it's almost 10 here).  We ordered these ginormous breaded veal cutlets (like schnitzel).  They arrived in mni pizza boxes.

So tell me (or who knows maybe no one will answer) what has changed now that you're a wife? What's your favorite thing so far?

While before I kind of hated being on our terrace watering the plants and always let Marco do everything, I now enjoy being out there with him. 

My favorite thing:  I can't quite explain it but somehow Dh is much more loving and husbandly.  Like he was ggreat before but now he's kicked it up a notch.

Changing my last name!!  And my husband (that still sounds so weird to me) has been super affectionate he has always been but he has kicked it up a notch and calls me his wifey now.  Super dorky I know but it's cute!

We just got back from our HM Sunday, so there's lots of changes taking place for us - mostly setting up the house.  DH wasn't fully moved in, and my "roommate" is moving to Virginia next week, so we told her she didn't have to move until she was ready to make the trip to VA.  She pretty much lives with her fiance (who just proposed last week!), which is why I put it in quotes.  My bed is going into her room as we turn that into the guest room, and H's bigger bed will be put in the master, but not until next weekend...sigh.  We are currently trying to figure out the closet situation (aka time to donate) and are staring at all the unopened wedding gifts sitting in the living room, b/c we're having our parents over for brunch Saturday and opening them then.  Suspense and disorganization are killing me.

My favorite thing so far is catchin H staring at his wedding ring.  I remember when he first proposed how long it took me to get used to wearing a ring on my left hand.

Exactly Lady!  and I love it when Marco calls me his wife to his friend or when he's on Xbox Live or something. 

And i love seeing his ring on, too!  Even though he still isn't used to it and takes it off at home quite often   but i understand he's still getting used to it. 


ETA:  Katie, I can't believe you haven't opened your wedding gifts yet!  That's so good of you!

Well....we might have opened one or two of them already...and peaked in a few bags :-)  But the majority of them are there, bugging me until Saturday!

The biggest thing that has changed for us is finances.  We talk about them a lot more and discuss what we want to accomplish with the money.

The best change is being able to change my name and call DH husband.  Got my new DL yesterday and I teared up a little bit seeing it!  It's just so exciting!

I think glancing over and DH looking at his ring constnantly.  Also I love my name change and calling him my husband.  Not much else changed since we already lived together and joined our finances after we bought our house.

I agree with PP that i just love seeing the ring on DH's finger.... I'll be honest tho, wearing two rings has been bugging my finger (there are diamonds on the side on my e-ring) and the one spot took months to get used to it and now it's been pushed up the finger a little higher and a whole new spot has to adjust lol

I'm about to start the process of changing my name and am pretty excited. It was my first day back to work and i actaully signed it right the first time lol

Ok, what the heck does DH stand for??? Isn't it just "H" for husband?

I'm hoping to officially change my name tomorrow as I have a half day at work. Super excited to see my new last name on paper!! Also have to open a new conjoined bank account. I'm finally getting the hang of calling my husband, "husband". I caught myself so many times on our honeymoon saying "fiance". I love seeing my ring on husban'd finger, brings a smile to my face. Negative, my husband thinks it is ok to go pee with door open now! I had to correct him of that immediately! lol.

hahaha Lindsay, DH = dear husband. I hate that so I just say H or Husband. Mostly husband.

The only thing my husband does differently is he calls me "wife." Not "wifey" or something cutesy, but he's like, "Hey, wife." It is endearing but kind of silly.

Also, I love seeing the ring on his finger, too!

The best thing is watching my husband play with his wedding ring. He's starting to get used to wearing it. He took it off in the middle of the night while he was sound asleep the first night, but that hasn't happened since. 

I started the name change process today and we opened a joint bank account. Other than that things are basically the same. We already lived together before the wedding.

Like a lot of you have said, I am just loving saying "wife" and "husband" so much more than saying "fiance". I got so sick of that. We have been to a few parties in the last few weeks where I met new people and was so fun when asked how I know ppl there to say "oh, I'm X's wife".

Oh yeah, and sorry if TMI, but the aheming has been a lot more frequent and intense since getting maried
