Nice resorts along the East Coast of US?

The Fiance and I are getting married this October, but we have yet to decide a place to go on for our HM. We live in Virginia, practically on the border of North Carolina, actually. We want to stay within the United States. I was thinking about going to a beach somewhere in NC, SC, GA, or maybe even FL.. The budget is very tight and we can only stay about 3 nights because of my nursing school schedule. (Will plan a nice anniversary trip later).. We do not want to go to Myrtle Beach, SC because we go every year. 

Anyways, my question is, does anyone know of any nice resorts or hotels on the beach along the east coast? I want to feel like we are on a honeymoon and have great accommodations and maybe all inclusive? Idk if all inclusive is strickly for resorts islands or something, or if there are any at regular beaches?

You could try the Maryland Eastern Shore or Solomon's Island (in Maryland as well).  I think you're going to have a hard time finding all inclusives for this type of thing.  Try guest houses (where you have a kitchen and can cook your own food) or bed and breakfasts.  The Outer Banks are beautiful as well--I've loved going down there in the past.

I dont think you will find an all inclusive in the US.  That is normally something for the islands.  But some great hotel options include..

The Palms Hotel & Spa in Miami Beach
Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach FL
Omni Amelia Island
Trade Winds Resort- St Petersburg Flo

And I would honestly just look into any hotels in any of these area's and you will find something amazing!

My first suggestion would be Nags Head. 

If you want something a little different from that, there is:

Wilmington
Ocean Isle
Hilton Head
Holden Beach (about 20 miles North of Myrtle)
Kiawah Island is about 20 min from Charleston
Pawleys Island, SC
