We just got back from our HM last night, and I tell you, waking up at the resort and going to bed at home, truly took some adjusting. LOL!
The resort was BEAUTIFUL!! The food was fantastic at the buffet for all meals. The pool and the beach were very nice and I loved the over all feel of the resort workers. The only thing that I really didn't like were the frozen drinks. They did not taste anything like they do here at home and I LOVE frozen drinks. Other than that, I would tell anyone to go to Iberostar Paraiso Beach.
The room was very nice. It took some getting used to with not having any carpet on the floor. I always thought the room was going to be chilly, but it turns out that the room was always cozy. The shower was amazing and everyday we came back to the room, there was a cute towel "figurine". I LOVED that. LOL!!
The pool and the beach were very nice and extremely clean. I didn't so much like the salt water pool, but it served the purpose.
We also went to the spa. AMAZING! My husband had never had a massage before. Now he wants me to find a spa that he can go to every month. He loved it.
The night entertainment was very fun and we enjoyed watching the shows.
We had a fantastic buffet restaurant at the resort. The food was so good and there were stations where much of the food was prepared to order, The fruit was always fresh and I was very happy about that.
The animals at the resort were beautiful. There were peacocks, lemurs, swans, wild turkeys and even a few cats. LOL! They were always ready to have their pictures taken.
All in all, we had a fantastic time. I would not change a thing. We are actually planning on going back next year during my Christmas break. Yay!
And the whole time, my future husband was in the room......
