H and I just got back from our lovely honeymoon in Italy and Greece on Saturday. Everything was wonderful. I loved Greece!
However, while we were there ALL transportation went on strike. Busses, trains, cabs and planes. Everything was shut down on Wednesday and I hear this happens often and randomly on Wednesdays. But then the train was on strike again on Friday and we had to take a bus into Athens, but we managed fine, it just took a lot longer.
I'm just warning you that this can happen. Obviously if they are all striking be prepared for delays and or having to rent a car to get to and from the airport.
It was just something I hadn't even considered before planning my trip and I wanted to let you ladies know so you could be prepared in the event you are there during a strike!
