So, I looked all over the passport website and couldn't find the answer, so I'm hoping someone here might know. Do I need to change my name on my passport in order to go on my honeymoon?

You don't need to change your passport before you go on your honeymoon.  Just be sure to book any tickets under your maiden name so that they match your drivers license and photo id.  You can change your ids when you come back.

You need to book your honeymoon in your maiden name. You won't be able to change your passport until you have your marriage license back, and then you have to mail it in and wait for the new one, so unless you're going on your honeymoon a few months after the wedding you won't have time.

Book all of the travel in your maiden name, then change it all once you get back.

yeah you have to wait until you get your marriage license back before you change your name on anything. and you wouldnt be able to put your married name on yoru passport anyway because it has to match your id and things when you go to get yoru passport done. my fiance and i just got ours done the beginning of March and paid expidited service which was totally worth it. We got our passports back exactly a week later and our birth certs came about 3 days after they did.
