Antigua!

HI Everyone!
My question is regarding Antigua..
Anyone going for their honeymoon??
We've recently booked ours there.. staying at Galley Bay Resort & Spa...We are very excited!!
Has anyone ever been there previously??
Also looking to see how expensive the island might be..
We are staying at an all inclusive resort.. so that will help, but just tying to get an idea of this island.. since we've never been.

DH and I went to Antigua a couple of years ago and stayed at Galley Bay.  We had a wonderful time. The resort is beautiful and the staff is absolutely lovely!  You will have a great time.

We took a helicopter tour of the island and really enjoyed it.  Honestly, I don't recall how expensive the island is.  Even though Galley Bay is all-inclusive, we had couple of lunches and dinners elsewhere. 

Oh!  Make sure you have enough cash to get off the island.  When we were leaving, we had to pay some sort of exit tax, in cash, at the airport.  You may want to check with your travel agent to see if that's still in effect.
