I know I asked for some knottie vibes about a month ago - my FI has been out of work for 7 months now, and he had his first job interview since he was laid off. He obviously didn't get that job, and things have been only getting more stressful. I can handle the wedding stress, but FI not having a job on top of it has been enough to send us both over the edge. The tension has been almost unbearable. It has been really difficult for me to get really excited about the wedding and being married, when we're both so worried all of the time.
Anyway, my grandfather knows someone who has been trying to get FI a job where he works, and every attempt so far has been unsuccessful. The friend finally said he talked to his boss, and FI had a good shot if he came back in again and applied because they need people. So...not only did FI go back and apply, but they did an interview right then as well. They already told him they want to bring him in for a second interview sometime early next week. FI thinks he might actually be getting this job. I am so happy, and so relieved, but at the same time terrified to get my hopes up again. Please please PLEASE send any good vibes this way, it would be greatly appreciated!!!
