Sandals La Toc, St. Lucia

After months and months of searching, I believe we have found the destination for our Honeymoon. Has anyone ever stayed at the Sandals Resort at La Toc? If so, please give me the good, bad, and ugly. Any insider tips? We want to make sure we are making the best decision.

We stayed there in November.  We had the 2 story ocean front villa with a private plunge pool and 2 butlers.

I suggest getting a butler suite.  They are awesome.

Also, pay the extra $100 for private transportation to and from the airport.

Bring a pair of sneakers and longer shorts and do the ziplining in the rainforest.

Bring plenty of underwear.  They only have dry cleaning and its $1.25 each pair to wash.

We havent booked it yet, but we went to a travel agent and they gave us a few different prices, based on the room we want. But for 7 days including flight (from Pensacola, FL) they started at 4000 and went up to around 6000 for the Butler & Millionaire Suites.

We are staying there at the end of July and the flights were outrageous!  They were going to cost us nearly as much as the stay.  One thing we found to make it cheaper was to take the flights no one else wants.  We are flying from Pittsburgh and have an overnight layover in San Juan on the way there and an overnight layover in Miami on the way back, but it literally cut the price of the flight in half to do it this way!  Might be worth looking into.  We figured it was worth it because we can get a hotel in San Juan and one in Miami for a lot cheaper than what a convenient flight would cost us!

We stayed for 10 days in the highest rated suite (with the exception of the millionaires suite) so it was pretty expensive.  I can PM you the total cost if you like, Im just not comfortable saying it on here.
