Riu Palace Cabo or Majestic Elegance Punta Cana?

Which of these all inclusive resorts would you suggest for a June honeymoon? I have been to Mexico and Jamaica before but my fiance hasn't traveled anywhere tropical so I'm hoping one of these locations will be a great destination for us both!

Cabo and PC are two very different destinations. What are you looking to get out of the destination itself? That may help you in choosing the resort.

Magestic Elegance is a better choice imo. Cabo is a lot of fun, bu the baches really are not that safe to swim in.
So, if you are loong to party a lot cabo, if you are looking for great beaches and lounging...PC

i've actually been to both! we've stayed at both for destination weddings.

Riu Cabo- fabulous hotel, loved the food. older crowd and lots of couples. you also have full privileges at the riu sante fe next door. The hotel is a short cab ride into Cabo san Lucas, and we had fun walking around the marina, going to bars and having dinner in town. We loved the 24 hr room service and the lobby bar was the place to be after dinner. Yes, the water is rough along the entire coast. There were a few in the group that went in anyways. The rooms were gorgeous, we loved having the liquor dispenser and bottles of Corona in the room.

Majestic Elegance- stunning hotel! Every room has a jacuzzi tub which is a bonus. Very eleganct feel to the resort. Loved all the food, the buffet was amazing. The beach in Punta Cana is wonderful- we could walk along the beach in either direction for hours. We didn't like that they have an "Elegance Club" within the hotel (private pool, lounge etc) just cause we don't like the separation. Our wedding group was not booked there, we didn't miss anything. The shows were great as well. Loved the late night snack bar that served the ME and the Majestic Colonial next door- great for burgers and beer. Our disappointment was with Punta Cana itself- no town or city to walk around in. There was a flea market you could walk to but that was it.

Don't think you'll be disappointed with either one! Be sure to check the lates TA reviews and decide which hotel suits you better.
