St. Lucia or Cabo

I am having a hard time deciding where to go. My FI isn't much help either. Which would be better...Cabo San Lucas or St. Lucia?  I've heard good and bad things about both! Is the Sandals Regency in St. Lucia worth it....I've heard mixed reviews. And in Cabo, what is the best place to stay closer to town?

My optinion is St Lucia is just beautiful and perfect for a honeymoon. Coworker has just got back from Calabash Cove resort and says it was totally amazing. It's on the northwest coast and is complete luxury, small and not 'in your face'.

We stayed at the Sandals Regency in St. Lucia and LOVED it! St Lucia is an absolutely beautiful place to go - I really don't have anything negative to say about it honestly. The service at the resort was great and we went on several excursions that were wonderful and fun. Except for the bike riding tour we did - that sucked but that's more because I'm really out of shape than anything else.

I think Mexico is a great choice! Since you are looking into Cabo, I would recommend Dreams Los Cabos. Dreams Los Cabos is a great all-inclusive resort located on an amazing beach; you will love it! The resort features three swimming pools, two swim up bars, and is located just a short distance from Cabo San Lucas. The staff at the resort is so accommodating and will make your time there very special. However, I would have to say that two of my favorite things about this resort are the spa and the 24-hour room service. If you chose Dreams, you and your future hubby must get a couple’s massage and also order room service and enjoy breakfast in bed! Good luck with your decision!
