$ for florists

How much did you spend and what did you all get?

Just curious. I'm meeting a florist (Frank Piccolo) on Wednesday and have no idea what pricing to expect.

    I haven't made my final order yet, but I am using Flowers for Special Occasions in Millard. Debbie Pitt, the owner, is really great about suggesting ways to save money and helping find flowers that still look beautiful but keep you within a budget you set. Not sure if all florists do this, but her quote for my wedding was completely itemized, making it easy to pick and choose what I wanted and stay within budget. She has a Facebook page with tons of pictures of her work just search for "Flowers for Special Occasions."

    I used Frank, and he did an amazing job!  I want to say it was around $1200-$1400 to do flowers for centerpieces for 250 guests, flowers for 10 attendants and 10 family members.  He is really good about tailoring the amount of flowers to what fits your wedding.  He wants to help you get the best deal, and Mulhall's flowers are gorgeous!

    we used brenda from flowerama off of 132nd and pacific. she was amazing. We paid about $850 and got 5 bouquets (including the brides) 20 flowers for groomsmen and family. An alter arrangement and a toss bouquet.
    Honestly we didn't want to go with floral centerpieces for the reception because they don't last and people throw them away if they don't dry them out.
    Another good company to check out would be Dustin from Creating Atmosphere. He used to be head decorator out at fountains ballroom but broke off to start his own company. His work is amazing!
