Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii! Will be my first time. Can't wait!

Was originally planning a cruise, but FI got a new (but better) job.  Unfortunately, with the new job came less flexible hours and only five vacation days for the first year!  Couple that with the fact that he's got to take some vacation days for a Friday wedding he's in this year, and the fact that he can't work Monday after we get married on Sunday night, and we had a not so good situation.

Soo...instead we are going to Disney World.  We were just there last August and had the best time!  It really is so much fun going to Disney as a couple.  We get married October 14 and leave October 16 and return October 21.

We are pushing off our cruise to February/March 2013.  He'll have 10 days vacation in 2013, so we are waaay more flexible!

we're flying to Cabo for five nights, then flying into LA and renting a car...then driving to Vegas via Palm Springs....2 nights in Palm Springs (I think, haven't booked yet), and then 3 nights in Vegas to cap things off before flying home (we love Vegas and always knew we wanted to incorporate it into our HM)

I'm 90% sure we're going to Disneyland!! FI has never been and I've been several times and I LOVE it! It's a cross between that and beach oriented like Hawaii or Florida. I do enjoy the beach but I think I'd rather be doing stuff and going on rides and plan a beach vacation for our first anniversary or something.

If you need any info on Mauritius or Bora Bora, I have been to both places. Not many girls on this board have been in the Indian Ocean area. However, as much as I liked Mauritius, I loved the Seychelles even more. We started our trip in Mauritius for 5 nights then stayed on the Seychelles for 6 nights. We flew between the two on Air Seychelles. As for Bora Bora, I have been numerous times and do recommend checking out other islands within French Polynesia to do in combo with Bora Bora. Mauritius and Bora Bora are also two very different places, so depending on what you are looking for, your decision may be made for you based on that. Hope that helps!

No where. Everyone is flying out to us (from 3,000 miles away) and we're going to spend part of the week prepping and doing shower-stuff and the second half we'll spend with the people who did fly out to be with us.

Besides, we didn't know where we would be living or where we'd be working (if we could take additional time off).

But I'm okay with it. Until recently we used to go SOMEWHERE about twice a year, so any vacation we go on next will be time well spent together. :-)
