Ellynne's Bridal in Lincoln: Alterations?

Has anyone done their alterations at Ellynne's Bridal in Lincoln? I was just curious about their pricing (is it reasonable)? Thanks to anyone who is able to help! :)

Hi, I actually have an appointment there for a 1st round alteration consultation on Thursday of this week. I'll let you know how it goes!

That would be great if you would be willing to share! I'm just nervous that the prices will be super expensive. I hope your fitting goes well! Which dress did you purchase?

I had my alterations appointment with Felicia. I bought my dress on Craigslist from a private seller and I knew the dress was too small when I bought it. I went in Thursday to see what they thought about letting it out or any other modifications we could do for it to fit properly. Felicia was very nice and was honest about her assessment. She went ahead and took the dress to see what she could do, but after thinking about it, I've decided to start over with a new dress to be sure that it fits and I'll be comfortable in.

As far as price goes, she said that letting it out would be around $100 and we were thinking about putting in a corset that laced up in the back, she said around $80 for that.

Good luck and I hope this helps!

Be wary of Ellyne Bridal...a friend of mine purchased her dress from them and they were supposed to alter it as well, but she picked it up and didn't realize that it hadn't actually been altered until the day of her wedding when the pins were falling out and she was tripping on the dress.  There wasn't anything she could do about it at that point, but she better be getting her money back for the alterations that didn't happen!

a friend purchased her gown from white tie, black satin (or black tie, white satin, i cant remember the name) and mentioned that alterations for gowns purchased at other stores was a flat fee of $250. if you aren't having much done, it probably isn't worth it, but if you are maybe check them out....
