Hi everyone,

Just a little introduction of myself... I'm Katie, and my fiance, Glen and I are getting married in Central Florida on November 12, 2011 (hopefully--we can't seem to find a reception venue yet...).

So far we have the older chapel of All Souls Catholic Church in Sanford booked for our date. I'm so excited about getting married!

Isn't it so exciting? We are also getting married in either november or december of next year! We are supposed to sit down this week and pick an exact date as we sign our contract next week.

That is a beautiful church! My brother is a firefighter in Sanford and they have done a few memorial services there.

Yay Katie!! I'm glad you are posting here since there are only so many places I know of to suggest. lol. Good luck searching and let us know where you decide! Once you get the venue the planning will hopefully get easier! Congrats and welcome!!

Sounds great.  For a nearby venue, you could try the Marriott on HE Thomas Blvd or the Lake Mary Events Center.

November 12, 2011 was my first choice for wedding date!!    We had to change t due to some family members not being available, but its a great date.  Its also the 2 year anniversary of one of the top 5 greatest events of my life.. closing on my first house!!  So you've got a good date picked out!!!

If it helps, we are 11/5/11 and everyone we talked to keeps saying, "wow, you're planning early!!"  It won't be too difficult to find a venue, we have only had one that was booked and that was LMEC.  It actually wasn't booked until we picked somewhere else and didn't try to book it.  Then we considered changing out minds and it was booked.  Bummer!
