Hello to all,
Here's my story. I was raised Catholic and my fiance' Church of Christ. Since he was married before, Catholics want an annulment, even though it was done in the courthouse, not a church. He doesn't currently practice any religion and I am not a practicing Catholic anymore. We went to talk to the priest to apease my dad. I am looking into joining the Episcopalian church for I like their views and has the feeling of 'the Church" to me.
Meanwhile, we are looking for something in between. We have a gazeebo reserved but he is afraid it isn't 'fancy' enough. We would love a church but we may just have 200 people. We aren't from Orlando, we are from Tampa. So some churches want you to be members before you are allowed to marry in their church. I understand that concept, but it's Orlando. Home to the most tourists in the world!
