These veils are driving me crazy!!!!!

I am completely clueless when it comes to veils and how to order them or which ones woudl look right with my dress. I know that I want something super simple, since i really don't see myself wearing it after the ceremony. And I don't want anything that is going to overpower my head. I want something very sheer and simple.
My dress also has a lot of detail on the back (corset backetc), so i don't want o take away from that either!!
All of these different options: angel cut, standard cut, square cut, single layer, double layer..... and the list goes one and on.
How is one to choose and knwo what look right with thier dress when ordering online to try and save $$. YIKES AND HELP!

here is a pic of my dress for a visual:

and furthermore... if anyone has any idea what hairstyle would look great with this dress, I am all ears on this topic too!!! Thanks ladies!!!

I would say if you don't want something to over power your head you may want a single tier because a 2 tier is going to be bigger. You may also want an elbow length if you don't want it to be too long and go over your detail. You could go try on veils to get some ideas before ordering online. The edging is supposed to match the embellishments on your dress. If you go to a salon they can help you. Where did you get the dress? You don't have to have a veil if you are uncomfortable with it. There are a lot of other options. As far as hair, I just looked on theknot to get ideas. I found a hair style that I love in one of the vendor portfolios.

you don't have to wear a veil if you are not comfortable with one. Some girls wear a beautiful decorative reinstone peice in their hair etc.

I would say with this dress a beautiful french knot would look sleek and polished. I would do a run through with your hairstylist.

On the viel I agree a single teir with either little beading empleishments or just plain.

I think something simple and one layer that would go just to the seam where your corset meets your skirt.  I think that would be fingertip length.  I would put your hair up and then put the veil behind your hair.  You could also go with elbow length if you're going to wear your veil lower behind your hair.

Also, I strongly suggest going to a bridal salon and trying on your dress with a bunch of different veils so you know what you like. Then tell them you're not sure or you're shopping around or something and go online and find one that's the same look for less.

I am going veil-less. I will probably have a chignon with some small flowers in my hair. I agree with the simple shorter veil, if you decide to go that route.

Your dress is awesome! I nearly went with an Essence dress but opted for another instead - they're great dresses.

You need to try the dress on and match veils accordingly. I'd go with something simple like the other girls said - finger tip or longer in a single layer. There's a lot of details and drama in your dress - I say keep the veil simple!
