Ceremony and/or Reception sites.

Hi Ladies!First, let me say, I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to planning a wedding. I'm 22 and have only attented 2 weddings and one was when I was 9 so I don't even have many examples to go off of! My FI and I got engaged about a year ago and we're getting married September of next year. Right now we're trying to find a location to have the cermony and the reception (if possible, if not I have church in mind for the ceremony and I'd just need a reception site). We live near Clermont and would like to keep the wedding near here, but it's not mandatory. We're working on a limited budget, about $5,000 for the whole thing.Does anyone have any ideas as far as locations are concerned? I'd really appreciate the help! TIA!

There is this place in clermont called ROOM: Valencia.  It's in the Citrus Tower.  They are very cheap to rent to room, and the cateers they use have really good prices.  They just renovated to room, so it's all updated stuff.  They don't have a great space for ceremonies though, so maybe you might wanna stick with the church idea for the ceremony.  I'm on a pretty tight budget also, it's tough!  But good luck!

Thanks! I had acutally just looked at that place and it seemed pretty nice and reasonable. We'll have to go check it out soon!

this might be a little far (east and north) but I was married at lake mary event center.  Depending on what rooms you rent, time, and day, many of their rentals are under $500 and you can have both the ceremony and reception there.  If you rent the whole building it gets more expensive - and Saturdays can be expensive but it may be worth a look.  GL!

I had a small budget too and I am getting married in downtown Orlando at the University Club of Orlando. We are having both are ceremony and reception there and they don't charge anything to use their facility. It is a huge space and Justin their events director is amazing. He will work with you on deposits and is very understanding of budget brides. All you have to pay for is food and beverage and they have some great all inclusive packages. It is right off of I-4 so it shouldn't be too far from you. IHTH!
