Any exquisite lake view venues?

I am looking for a grande lake view but cannot find one. Did not fall in love with Paradise Cove the way I thought I would. I also don't want anything attached to an inn or anything so quaint as that is not my style. Suggestions please. Thank you.

Cypress Grove Estate is on a lake...not an inn, but more like a historical house.  It's not overly quaint, but I don't know you're style -- might be worth checking out.

Check into Polasek museum in Winter Park. (Pronounced Pole-AH-shek.) It's a garden/sculpture museum that backs up to a lake. It's beautiful and lush and I love love love it. If we can afford it, that's where we'll be getting married. Potential cons (not deal-breakers for us, but might be for others): -No space for indoor reception -Rental does not include chairs/tables/linens/etc. They have a lady who acts as their point person for weddings. Her name is Kim LaRoche and her e-mail address is specialeventsbylaroche at msn.com and her service is called Special Event Solutions (I think) - I don't know anything about her yet, but I've spoken to her on the phone and she seems very friendly. HTH! :)

I'm a Lake Mary Events Center bride....you might want to check it out! I definetely don't think I would define it as "quaint"...it's fairly large and beautifully decorated inside, and the routunda and the outside lawn(where you can do ceremonies) is right on the lake! Might be pretty close to what you are looking for!
