hi venue twin!well, i am a bit partial to our cake. it was lemon cake with raspberry filling, and it was the best cake i have ever had in my life. we decided to eat a slice a day for the week after the wedding instead of saving it for our 1 yr anniversary b/c we loved our cake so much! we just used buttercream frosting. they did a great job.for the menu items, we had stations. we had a pasta station where people could pick their pasta, sauce, and meat and have it cooked for them. we also had mini beef wellingtons and twice-baked potatoes, which i loved. the pina colada salad was a huge hit! oh, and we also had baked brie with raspberry sauce served with ginger snaps. what else? it seems like it was so long ago! a fruit table. an assorted cheese spread. honestly, everything was awesome. are you doing a flowing reception or a sit-down?

Sarah's cake was freaking amazing...probably the best cake I've ever had as well!  And it looked as wonderful as it tasted!  You have nothing to worry about there!

I second that, her cake was soooooooooooo good and it was beautiful!!! The food was also delicious. I particularly loved the pineapple tree, pasta stations & the baked brie. Yum yum! Good luck!

Thanks!! I'm glad to hear the food and cake was amazing! We're also having Town Manor do my FI's groom's cake which is going to be chocolate with either reece's peanut butter cup or oreo filling...yum! We love chocolate lol We're doing a flowing reception
