Taverna is awesome! Just be prepared to spend money...and to dance on the table! You can't do much talking because it is loud and every 30 min the waiters and waitresses get you up to dance. There are also magicians (that are amazing!) and belly dancers that will expect a tip if they spend time at your table. At Buca...would there be enough girls to reserve the cool pope table in the middle of the rest?? I have always wanted to sit there! lol!

Taverna Opa has a minimum charge of $20 or $25 of FOOD if you sit inside. Just keep that in mind. When I went, we sat outside & it was much better, even though you can't really see the dancers, etc.

i'm not interested in going to whichever place makes you dance on the tables! i don't enjoy dancing, especially not on tables. lmao.

Probably not going to be able to go, but I JUST went to Bucca on Tuesday for my sister's birthday.  It was AMAZING!!! For 12 people, we sat at the Pope's table and the bill was $260 and that included like 5 pitchers of beer. I vote for that, even though I'm not going.  LOL

Opa doesn't MAKE you dance on the tables Sarah lol.  And when I went I think I only spent $10 on food and we sat inside so I guess that would be something we would need to find out before going.  Maybe it means per table... not per person??  idk

I went in January and there was a little note on the menu that said "minimum of $20 worth of food per person on a friday or saturday night" (or something to that effect). I just couldn't believe there was a minimum! Who does that?! I will never go there again. lol

I wanna go!  I've never been to a get together, but keep seeing all the posts for them.   When are you all planning to get together?I like Ceviche...it's a pretty cool place and would be semi-close to Cowboys if people were still planning to go there....but, I've also have never been to Opa and always wanted to check it out.
