Return address labels

Ok, so I just got an email that i should receive my save the dates by 9-21.  I want to order return address labels becuase it will make my life so much easier.FI and I don't live together yet, would it look weird if the save dates only had my name on the return address or should I add his name on it even though we don't live together yet? Most of our friends and family know we don't live together yet.

I would do both names. That way it shows that the invitation is from both of you. Especially if most of your guests know your living situation, I don't think there will be a whole lot of confusion.  I don't know if that is the official "proper" way to do it, but that's how I would do it.

Thanks for asking this question. I always wondered how to do that. I was thinkking the correct way would be to say: John Smith & Jane Doe c/o: Jane Doe 12345 Six Avenue Orlando, Fl 33475Is that silly?

Honestly, for STDs I don't think it's a big deal either way.  The only thing I can think of that might come up is that people could ask if you moved in together if both the names are on there.  The STDs themselves will have both you and your FIs name on them, so they will know it's from both of you regardless of what the return label says.  Seriously, just put whatever you're more comfortable with.

Agreed! Whatever you feel more comfortable with is what you are going to go with. I forgot you were talking about save-the-dates! I'm probably gonna go with what Sarah did to just simplify things. As for the wedding, both names will be on there with either one of our addresses. Ppl know my father would never allow for us to live together, not that we would have wanted to, but they know who they are dealing with so i'm pretty sure no questions will be asked. HTH!

Thanks for all the responses!  It's the crazy little things that I worry about, and I know most people won't even think too much about the return labels.  I think I might just do it with only my name on the label, this way I can use it for other things as well. Thanks again!

When I did ours I just put a return address and no name I don't think any one even noticed.
