Is anyone doing any of them this fall? I am thinking about doing one and I wondering what your experience was like.

    Dude. I haaaaate running. And that's my FI's sole form of exercise. One of my students did the Princess run last year... 5k, maybe? She really enjoyed it and I think she's doing it again this year. And a good friend of mine is doing the tri this year... that's soon, right? She's been crazy. Like, she gets up at 2am to run 23 miles. No thanks!! ;)

    I'm signed up for the 5 Miler at UCF in October and the Disney Princess 1/2 Marathon in March.  Evie is doing them, as well.  Come and join us!!!!!!!!!

    Charisma - this is all second hand.  I've heard that they are fun however, they are a little more expensive than other runs.  And, the logistics are a little funny.  In order to get to the starting point on time you end up having to leave pretty early.  I've considered them but like others I suck at running no matter how much I want to be a runner!!  Though I hate bkining and swimming (laps) even more than running!

    Sarah :)  - I just read what you said about sucking at running.  WhatEVER!!!!!!  You do not suck at all.  don't talk about my friend like that!!!

    I did the expedition everest last year.  It was the 1st year and it was a lot of fun.  My FI and I ran the race together, did an obstacle course, and then a scavenger hunt in Animal Kingdom.  Afterwards we got to ride the everest rollercoaster and there was a party.  It was pricey, but we got 2 disney tickets, a bag of goodies, and a nice quality champion shirt.  Lots of fun!!

    I did expedition Everest last year, also, and it WAS super fun. I ran it with a girlfriend and it was our first race ever, so we enjoyed all of the hoopla. And the scavenger hunt and obstacle course made it that much more of a unique experience. It was worth the money (esp. b/c of the tickets to the park).
