Florist Recommendations

Can you all tell me some florists you either think are really great or tell me who I should avoid and why?  Thank you :)

I used Lee Forrest. He's an awesome florist and a really fun guy :) You can check out some of his work here: http://www.leigh-taylor.com/blog/?p=849 He did my bouquets, the flower tree at our reception and our centerpeices. GL!

I'm using Debra Robertson with DSR Designs..She has a wonderful, down to earth personality and has done A LOT of weddings :] Her prices are also 40%-50% less expensive than others in the area..BUT, don't let that fool you into think she does 40%-50% less work..From what I've seen, she produces beautiful bouquets, CPs and other arrangements. Her number is 407-592-5511..GL!

I used Greenery Productions (for personal flowers and uplighting) and I was very happy :) PIB (Married Bio) of some of the flowers from the wedding. I haven't done my vendor reviews yet, but Tommy was patient with all our questions and totally flexible when DH and I met with him. Felt like he really tailored our flowers to US, if that makes sense. (He also came in under our $1k flower budget).

I loved Lee Forrest.  My flowers were gorgeous and he is a blast to work with.  Had my mom and I in stitches when we met with him.  And he is very flexible.

I am using Joyce Hensley of Creative Designs. I am really not a "flower" person so I told her my wedding colors and she just ran with it! Her prices can't be beat and she is really good at what she does. She is also my DOC. I almost went with Lee Forrest but I just could not afford his prices. IHTH!

I second Tommy from Greenery Productions. A lot of people why away from this company because they think it is going to be expensive but GP prices are very competitive. In fact, GPs prices came in under three of the other preferred CFL florists. Tommy is so creative and talented. He loves what he does and that shows in his work. You can see his work in my married bio and there is a link to the Greenery Productions site in my married bio. You should check it out and see all the awesome work that they do!

I'm using DSR designs... Debbie is super nice and easy to work with. Her pricing structure is different than most other florists and I think you get the most bang for your buck with her. I'm a destination bride and she's making my centerpiece ups for me to display at a bridal show this weekend. I thought that was a nice gesture because I can't come in to see them.

I'm excited, I guess it's the next best thing if you can't see them in person. She said they are having a whole purple table and that's the one my mockup will most likely be on.

My best friend used Debbie with DSR.  She found it was the best value (great work for a cheap price).  I think she said Dream Designs was a close second.

I'm using Jonathan's Flowers. He's budget friendly, and so far I've been very please with our interaction. I'm planning from SFL, so I've done everything via phone and email so far, but FI and I have a meeting with him and his head designer on Friday to go over specifics and make sure we're on the same page :-) We came in under $1000 for everything, and he gives a discount if you pay in full, so that knocked even more off the price. Some other girls have used him as well, perhaps someone else will chime in.

Tommy at Greenery Productions!!!I originally thought he was going to come in way over budget, but his prices are actually much lower than 2 other florists in the area. He is very creative and you know that you can trust him with his ideas.

I'm also using Vicki at Peddles. She's awesome and her prices are rediculously reasonable. I got everything I wanted (centerpieces and all) for under $500. That's for a small wedding party, but still...

A little late on the post but i HIGHLY recommend Bobby with Jonathan Gray (info in bio, click on name).  to see some of his work you can look at this slideshow from my photographer.  The center pieces are towards the end i think and they were awesome!http://animoto.com/play/a1SuQ20o1XDe15oz8Mh8YA?autostart=true
