save money on the honeymoon?

We want to go to Savannah, ga for the honeymoon and stay in a "haunted hotel". We plan on driving from Alabama to there. any ideas on how to save money on the trip?

Pack a cooler full of food and drinks so you don't have to eat out so much.   That's all I got!

get a room with a kitchen and/or fridge/mini-fridge and bring or make food while you're there. search the web for any discounts on attractions, bring drinks to have in the room, see if hotel or nearby offers free parking, check out restaurant menus befoe you go to see what is expensive or not.

Definitely check out sites like Groupon which may have good deals on attractions or even accomodations in Savannah.
