I apologize if this has already been posted on here... I just don't have time to scan previous posts right now.
So they called said I won a 3 day/ 2 night vacation and free wedding bands etc.... only catch- sit through a 90 minute presentation, but I absolutely do not have to buy anything to get the prize.
So my obviously question- Is this a scam? Has anyone else done this and is it worth it?
We are on a very tight budget for the wedding and my parents are contributing a lot to the wedding. My Dad has covered both of my brother's honeymoons (frequent flier miles) and would like to cover mine as well, but I of course feel guilty because while they helped pay for both of my brother's weddings they did not contributing nearly what they are to mine. So the free hotel stay (its all inclusive) would be nice and we would probably just go to Mexico since we are in San Diego and airfare would be cheap.
I love my engagement ring, but it is very very unique and we would have to get a custom band made (ridiculously expensive), but since I am an athete I hardly ever even get to wear my engagement ring so I am looking to get a plain band anyway and will just wear my engagement ring on my right hand... It would be very nice to get these for free.
