so the company I'm using for photo/dj already posted some of my e-pics on their company website.  do they have to ask me to post my pics or do they have the right to do that?  It really doesnt bother me to much, but I'm pretty sure if FI knew he'd be upset.thoughts?TIA!

Check your contract.  If they're already up it probably says they own the rights to the photos.

i'm pretty sure your contract probably states that they have the rights to use those photos. but if it's a problem, email them and they may take them down. we loved having ours posted because we could send the link to people!

that's what I figured, that they had the rights too.  like I said, doesn't really bother me to much.  Kinda cool actually!  I just won't tell FI!  LOL

My photographer had to sign a release for my church saying that, while she owned the copyright to her pictures, she couldn't use anything taken there as advertisement for profit for herself. If y'all don't have an express written agreement like that I'd say they're well within their rights. Like PP said, if y'all have a problem with it just let them know. My guess is they'll be understanding and take them down
