Meeting with Lee

Hey ladies,So...i booked a meeting with Lee for next month. He already sent me a proposal, but I would really like for it to be a little cheaper than it is... any ideas on what to do? Also, when you go to meet Lee, does he have like some sample pics or something that we can look at? I already told him everything I want...i just wish it was about 500 or so less than the price he quoted me. I would like to bounce some ideas around about different (and maybe cheaper) flowers, and see if they can be used to still capture the vision that we have for the wedding. I know a lot of you said that he is good about staying within your budget, so i'm hoping that he can accomodate to mine!Any insight would definitely help.Thanks!

Let him know that you want the cost to be a little cheaper, and I'm sure he will find a way to maintain your vision while decreasing the cost.  And yes, he has tons of sample pics that you can look at when you go to his shop... or you can check him out on facebook and see pix there as well.

Thanks Terri! I will definitely keep that in mind. I do have him as a friend on facebook and saw those! I'm excited to go see what he has in the store and I think that once we have broken that barrier by seeing each other in person, it will make it easier for us to find some kind of happy medium. I appreciate your comment

he has tons of pics and was able to get with in my budget...and my flowers were wonderful.  he will have some great ideas for you.

He is the sweetest man! I really felt confident that he would take care of everything. The only reason I did not go with him is because I met someone through where I work that happened to do flowers for her church. She quoted me half of what Lee did and I'm getting so many orchids (which are my fav). She showed me pics and everything so I couldn't pass her up. But if I had never met her than I would have gone with Lee in a heartbeat because he is very creative and sincere.

Thanks ladies! I definitely feel as if FI and I are going to have a great experience when we meet with him! I'm pretty sure he can get the price down too...which is awesome! even though my MOH said that she will pay the different between my budget and what the florist quotes me, I dont want it to be in the triple zero stage! I'm thinking she can handle the difference if it is like 500 dollars. I'm so excited now! Two more weeks

He is one of the more expensive florists of the ones that I met with but he is also said to be the best.  I'd let him know your budget before hand and see what ideas he can come up with to meet your budget.  I went with someone else because I ended up getting a lot more for the money with a less well known florist and I'm not ordering a ton of flowers anyway.
