Breter Photography!!! LOVE IT!!

SmileHello Ladies!
I wanted to share my experience with you in regards to Breter Photography. Rob and Tara Breter are amazing people to work with. When we met with Rob we knew right then that he would make our day beautiful and enjoyable. Rob's vision for the weddings he works is fun and memorable. He made us feel at ease and not like we where at a photo shoot. We enjoyed his personable manner and the way he made the guests feel just as important as us. We 100+% advise you to give them a look, you will be just as satisfied as we where. We had a comfortable budget for photography and Rob's packages are more than resonable they are down right amazing! Please let me know if you would like to see some photos or have any questions.

Thank you Rob and Tara!!!!!

Congrats on your wedding and glad you loved your photographer.  How about you introduce yourself first though.  Seeing as how this is only your second post ever since you have been on the knot people might think you are a vendor.

I can't believe that that is photo they chose as the main image on every page.  They must not realize what that means right? Jeez.  I was thinking maybe you meant it was first pic in a slideshow or something (which I still wouldn't include it in myself), but the main pic??

*gasp* I can't believe that either. I'm pretty naive and even I know what that is. Wonder if Yankees will come back and speak up...? :)

I just noticed this post, and I hardly ever post on here. But since the topic turned to the header of Breter Photography's website, I couldn't resist.

That was actually my wedding. For some reason the shocker turned out to be a sort of theme. I think that it all started with the rehearsal. My mom put together a video to be played at the ceremony. It was a surprise for my husband and I, so we had not seen it until that night. Well in the video there were a couple of pictures of us in college with both my husband and his friends doing this guesture. Boys will be boys right?

Well after watching the video we all could not stop lauging. It was a bit embarrasing though, because none of the older adults knew what it meant (they kept trying to get us to explain it, but we were too embarrased.)

So since we only got to see the video the night before the wedding, we couldn't change it, and we decided that those young enough to know what the guesture ment would think it was funny, and those that were older wouldn't be offended by it because they wouldn't know what it meant.

I'm sorry if the picture offended you, but it definitely made the day more interesting and funny for us. We actually love this picture, because everyone was just goofing off and having a good time.

We were happy with the pictuers that Rob took. He was a good photographer, he was great and during the ceremony and reception we hardly noticed him.

I actually just went to his website and was sad to see that he changed the banner. Oh well Smile

Hi to all who posted on this thread... One of our brides just made us aware of this post they came upon when searching Breter Photography.  We wanted to take time to reply to the post as well.  I wanted to say thank you to Yankeeclc, who was indeed a previous bride of ours.  We TRULY appreciate Carol's kind comments about Rob and I, we can't thank her enough.  She was an absolute joy to work with, and we didn't want her to feel bad about her original kind post that started the whole thread.  Quite the opposite, it made us aware of the gesture by the bride who emailed to tell us about it.  I can imagine that Carol didn't know what to say in response to all the threads that followed, as she is so super sweet and kind, and that is why she didn't post again.  I'm guessing on that... she was most likely taken by surprise about what was said about the picture.  In addition to thanking Carol, I wanted to thank the bride (who I assume was one of the above posters), for emailing us a few months back, to let us know about the picture and the gesture.  Rob prides himself on being very professional, and would have never wanted to portray a negative image on our website.  It's not that we are old, we were just not aware of the meaning of the gesture until we were informed.  We honestly thought it was a college gesture for their school.   Finally, we want to thank kaiandkar for choosing Rob to be a part of their special day!  They were a super fun couple and Rob enjoyed being a part of their wedding day celebration.  This is the very first time that we have posted on theknot.com, as I believe vendors are not aloud to post.  We are not currently a knot vendor, however, we wanted to respond to the above thread.   Thank you so much for taking time to read my reply!  Tara
