Catering Help Please

We are getting married at Paradise Cove on 5/4/12 and I've been trying to book my caterer. We thought we would go with Creations Catering because we liked their food and they were fairly inexpensive. The problem is we have asked for a contract to book our date and they are really being slow sending it. I asked for it over a month ago and continue to call and they still haven't gotten it to me. Am I stressing too much or does anyone have suggestions of a better catering company in the area? Thanks

Hey I'm also a Paradise Cove bride!!! It's such a wonderful place and I'm really excited to get married there. Congratulations by the way. ; ) Well, I would call them and ask for the owner or manager (depending on how big the company is they will have an owner or a manager). Let them know that you are really excited to work with them and are ready to sign a contract but your wedding coordinator has not sent you the contract yet. I am also having issues with some caterers. We were originally going to go with Tuxedo Catering/Aloha productions but just like Creations Catering they don't communicate with their brides very well. And the way I see it is if they aren't communicating with you now, when you obviously have told them your ready to sign a contract then imagine how stressed your will be months or days before your wedding when you are trying to get in contact with them and they aren't responding! I'm getting married on 10/28/12 and am still on the search for our caterer. Who were your 2nd and 3rd choices?

Hi! I would recommend Puff N Stuff catering, they are kinda expensive but totally worth it! We had a tasting there, and their food is amazing! I am working with Heidi and she's pretty good. Another one I recommend is Cuisiniers Catering, they have awesome food as well! I have heard good things about John Michael Events, but I don't recommend them, we went to a tasting of theirs and those two other places had way better food! Let me know if you need other suggestions!

P.S. it does not take THAT long for a contract! I suggest looking somewhere else!

How many people are you having? That would really help.

Tastronomy caters down there, they are super cheap. We used them for a bridal shower and the food was amazing (and I'm a foodie, so I know amazing food when I taste it).

I have the business card of the girl we worked with, her name is Christina. Her email is  christina@tastronomy.com. It's really worth checking them out if you are on a budget.
