How do you forget something like this?!

AH! I almost totally forgot that I get to pick up my wedding gown today from the altertionist   I am so excited! (except for the two hour drive...)

Does anyone have any stories about something they have totally forgotten about last minute?

YEAH - we were going to hand our video camera to a friend to record the ceremony and our first dance. Completely forgot to bring it.

Things I forgot last minute: ring bearer pillow and cake cutter/server set. They were at DH's house because that's where I was storing everything, including the vases for the centerpieces. Two of my bridesmaids volunteered to go pick up the vases and bring them to the venue, so I took them up on it. The morning of, they asked if that was all- just the vases, and I couldn't think of anything else that we needed from there because I was ill and stressed, so they didn't bring the ring pillow or cake cutter, but that was my fault, and it ended up not being a big deal anyway, but that's my forgettign story!

Oh- AND I forgot the sand ceremony stuff. I put it in my sister's car, so I made sure it arrived there, but we never took it out.  It's probably still in her trunk, lol. So we totally skipped over that part of the ceremony, btu I didn't really want to do it in the first place, anyway. I only bought the stuff because it was in the speaking points, so it didn't bother me to skip it. We also did communion, so that was enough of a unity ceremony thing for me.

I left my house on the morning of the rehearsal and wasn't supposed to go back until Sunday afternoon, after the wedding and morning after brunch. I realized at lunch that I forgot my garment bag that had my veils in it! My sweet mama volunteered to go back and get it for me  And at the rehearsal I forgot to bring my bow bouquet. Whoops!
